Forum Bug

Hi all,
We're aware of a peculiar forum glitch that's causing some subforums to be locked.
Due to the lateness at this time, it might be a while before the glitch can be remedied, because despite my best efforts and as far as I can tell, everything seems to be working fine admin-side. It may have …

Dreamcatcher
Basically this is a poem I wrote for my Final in the poetry unit of my Creative Writing class. It's probably not too good just because I don't exactly write poetry often, but I figured why not post it.
Dreamcatcher
It's a simple trinket, the soft feathers and hand-carved ornaments
dripping from the thin web
and yet the boy and the girl steal secret glances at each other,
giggling as they together leave their joy on the wall.
And so the dreamcatcher hangs.
They have bloomed in grace, the boy and the girl.
Together the young adults amble through the door;
the young woman's face is flushed like a rose
soon to bloom, and yet the young man sees only
his sun and his moon and his stars.
And so the dreamcatcher hangs.
Time ages, but passion does not,
for the man sinks to one knee, and with the opening of a single small box
a glittering gem sealed onto a silver band
winks with the promise of the future ahead.
The woman happily embraces the man,
And so the dreamcatcher hangs.
Days after,
the man enters the room with his jacket dark and heavy from rain.
He is alone.
The room is paralyzed with a white, empty silence
so he comes over to the wall, reaches out for the object
And so the dreamcatcher no longer hangs.

Re: Dreamcatcher
That was awesome! I love it! I'm really glad you posted it, because it's given me some more ideas for some poetry I'm currently working on.
