Forum Bug

Hi all,

We're aware of a peculiar forum glitch that's causing some subforums to be locked.

Due to the lateness at this time, it might be a while before the glitch can be remedied, because despite my best efforts and as far as I can tell, everything seems to be working fine admin-side. It may have …

*wipes sweat from brow* Whew, political correctness is a lot of hard work. But it has to be done.

ANYWAYS, we did it - we (almost) survived 2016 which, I think we can all agree, was pretty damn terrible in many ways.

Regardless, it was a good year on the forums - we've met some new faces, set out …

Sweet. Plenty of time for a little planning.

So, is there anything specific you'd like to see? I'm willing to bet N'al Ren would be broken up into a couple provinces and territories, but we can get into that later.

Yeah, definitely. There's going to be a lot of focus on magic in this RPG, compared to the other IR's. We might get to explore the origins of Sanctumism, because I don't really know how that was made.

Also, I've had an idea that, though there are actually thousands of clans fighting each other, there will be three ones vying for control of Ald Ruhn, including Runite's Row. I'll get to work on Mr. Runite himself. If anyone has suggestions for the other 2 clans, feel free to post.

Oh that's a cool idea! I kinda wanted to maybe have Commodus do something with the Kryze legion. Would that be okay as maybe one of the clans?

Yeah~! You can make a clan, definitely. That's going to be one of my characters, a leader of a clan. And Bledsent Province will play a role as well.

There's going to be more than just warring, though. I have a lot in store.

Yes, it will take place 700 years before the current events of IR, during the Clan Wars.

So since this is 700 years in the past, would the setting be like medieval times? Or something even more archaic, or what?

That's something I've been wondering - how advanced is N'al Ren now, compared to 700 years ago? I'd be willing to bet things like the Internet, TV, and cell phones don't exist.

Oh yeah. But what about guns and other stuff? I think that's what I'm mainly wondering about.
