Medieval RPG?

Hey everyone! I've been thinking of some RPGs to make, and I've realized that we haven't had a medieval RPG in a while. Let me know what you guys think and, if you could, please let me know which of the following you'd like:

-Magic or Nonmagic?
-Free World, Plot, or loose plot that you don't have to follow?
-Kingdoms/rulers or everyone is a commoner?

I'd say 3 kingdoms, maybe one that practices magic just to keep things interested. But if you don't like that idea, I'm cool with having no magic at all. And I think a loose plot would be good.

Sounds good to me....

I was just thinking the classic Two opposite kingdoms plot feuding for one reason or another

I think what would happen if we do that boyhoy is we would have the overpopulation problem...... we could say that there are like 5 people total who can do magic and its strictly illegal though punishable by death.... I just feel like the plot would then focus around those people

Maybe if there are two kingdoms and a small village that form a triangle. The kingdoms have outlawed magic, but each of the royal families keep a magician in hiding for protection. The village practices long-forgotten magics, and basically everyone can perform the art, but there will be a limit to powers and how many people can be in the village. So, basically, they all hate eachother.

I like Jack's idea a lot. That'll be interesting and not the same medieval RPG that we see over and over again. Plus it gives people the choice of whether they want to make a character that can practice magic or not which is nice.
