Forum Bug

Hi all,

We're aware of a peculiar forum glitch that's causing some subforums to be locked.

Due to the lateness at this time, it might be a while before the glitch can be remedied, because despite my best efforts and as far as I can tell, everything seems to be working fine admin-side. It may have …

End of Year News (December 2017)

(It's been one year since I made a news thread, oops)

Merry Christmas/Festivus/whatever holiday you do or do not celebrate!

2017 was a pretty busy year IRL for most of us - according to forum statistics, our busiest month was in June with 1671 total posts, meaning our post rate has been a little low recently.

But that's OK - 2017 was nevertheless a good year for the forum! We've seen several RPG sequels (Infinity's Row 2, Celestial: Ophiuchus's Revenge) as well as reboots (Harwell's Institute) and original works (Naruto: Will of Fire, Irongale, Skyrim: Dawn of Alduin, Red Queen). While our brains were busy with college, school, and work, our creativity never died... and that's a good thing to see.

We've also seen some new stories appear on our boards! We've been particularly busy with RPG Backstories: the tales behind iconic characters of the RPG section (Infinity's Row: Syndicate, Infinity's Row: The Festival Family, Anaphora: Vengeance, Anaphora: The Undying, Anaphora: O Absalom, Red Queen: Shatter the Mirror, Harwell's Institute: What is Daikaiju?, Bloodwillow: Winter Night, Harwell's Institute: Resonance, That's Christmas to Me: An Irongale AU). It's great to see people expanding their stories beyond post-by-post roleplay, and watching their excellent writing skills come to life. Great job, everyone!

We've also had some new faces drop by the forum. Most recently, we have welcomed @mikepike, a friend of @Fix-It who we're sure is more than ready to join in on the action here. We've also seen @Raigeki, a community veteran and excellent graphic artist, and @Captain Whitehawk, a fairly-active and genius role-player, who both joined late last year and have contributed so much already. Thank you all for joining our community and making it shine!

And now, we look ahead at 2018. A new year is approaching, and with it, there's no doubt we will see more stories on the horizon. A quiet year it has been, but I'm nevertheless very proud of all of you guys. I'm glad we have the freedom to be able to explore whatever worlds we wish to, and I'm glad that none of you are taking it for granted. Thank you so much, and I'll see you in 2018!
